Hello Everyone!

Thank You for visiting my Blog: A little Imagination. I created this blog to showcase some of the decorated cakes I have made in the past and to pass along some ideas for cakes that I can make in the future.

All of my cakes are handmade in Middletown, CT and decorated using Fondant and Gumpaste (for the most part) as well as Buttercream and other soft icings.

The Idea behind my cakes is this: If you can think of it, I can make it into a cake. I love bouncing ideas around so we can come up with the perfect cake for your event.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today we are celebrating my mom's birthday, my sister is making her famous chicken parm, and I decided to make the cake (Surprise!)


My mom loves jigsaw puzzles so i decided to give her one for her birthday.


This is 2 layers of Devil's food cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting. Each piece is 3 inches tall, the cake is meant to feed our immediate family.
