Hello Everyone!
Thank You for visiting my Blog: A little Imagination. I created this blog to showcase some of the decorated cakes I have made in the past and to pass along some ideas for cakes that I can make in the future.
All of my cakes are handmade in Middletown, CT and decorated using Fondant and Gumpaste (for the most part) as well as Buttercream and other soft icings.
The Idea behind my cakes is this: If you can think of it, I can make it into a cake. I love bouncing ideas around so we can come up with the perfect cake for your event.

So this was a very busy weekend - 3 cakes in 3 days!
This was the last cake of the weekend - A pair of stilettos in a shoe box for a 21st birthday party.
The box was made of 3 layers of marble cake with vanilla custard filling and chocolate frosting. I don't usually post pictures of the "guts" of my cakes - but this just looked too good not to pass along!
The shoes themselves are also made from fondant that I let harden for 24 hours before adding them to the cake.
this cake was fun to make and surprisingly sturdy once all the elements were added.
