Thank You for visiting my Blog: A little Imagination. I created this blog to showcase some of the decorated cakes I have made in the past and to pass along some ideas for cakes that I can make in the future.

All of my cakes are handmade in Middletown, CT and decorated using Fondant and Gumpaste (for the most part) as well as Buttercream and other soft icings.

The Idea behind my cakes is this: If you can think of it, I can make it into a cake. I love bouncing ideas around so we can come up with the perfect cake for your event.

1st Birthday Truck

I love details.

This may seem like a silly way to open up a post, but when I received the email to make the following cake, I can't tell you how excited I was. the details are what make these cakes special, it's what sets them apart and makes them special for the person that they are made for. When I get an email from someone who knows exactly what they want, I tend to get a little excited! Ok, enough rambling, on the the fun stuff.


This cake was made for a little boy's 1st birthday with a truck theme.


Complete with Traffic cones, caution tape, and an adorable personality, this cake was all about the details, and came out great.
