Hello Everyone!

Thank You for visiting my Blog: A little Imagination. I created this blog to showcase some of the decorated cakes I have made in the past and to pass along some ideas for cakes that I can make in the future.

All of my cakes are handmade in Middletown, CT and decorated using Fondant and Gumpaste (for the most part) as well as Buttercream and other soft icings.

The Idea behind my cakes is this: If you can think of it, I can make it into a cake. I love bouncing ideas around so we can come up with the perfect cake for your event.

Mega update part 1

Mega Update Time!!!

Hi All! Sorry for the lack of posts, it’s been a little busy around here with all the cake orders coming in! In order to catch everyone up, I am going to do some multiple cake posts… ready?


Cars Tomater and Lightning McQueen:

Made for a little boys birthday party, both of these cakes were sculpted from Devils food cake with vanilla buttercream covered in marshmallow fondant and airbrushed. Feeds 30




Middletown Kenpo Karate School retirement cake:

The two head instructors of a local Karate school decided to pass the torch on to the next generation of instructors, and this cake was made for the event.



Each gi was made to look like the ones worn by these specific instructors, including the patches and belts. Devil’s food cake with dark chocolate ganache. Feeds 50


Green flower birthday:

A birthday cake with a modern floral design.



Devil’s food cake with peanut butter ganache and marshmallow fondant. Feeds 10-12

my nephew would flip for the cars cake. McQueen & Tomater look so much like 'themselves'! Hehe, Everything you do looks so nice. I love looking at your cakes, they are awesome.
