Here are a few highlights from the last few months! To make it fair - let's go in alphabetical order shall we?
1. Anthropologie: A Birthday cake based on an Anthopologie Rug that the client loved.


2. Apple Blossom Wedding Cake: This cake was inspired by our original pink apple blossom wedding cake (seen here) but was made for a intimate wedding of only 50 people. Who says tiny can't be fabulous!

3. Bridal Shower: A delicate ivory cake with gumpaste lace, flowers and ribbon to match the bride's wedding dress and bouquet.

4. Broadway: A NY themed sweet 16 party was made complete by this 3 tier marquee covered cake.

5. Carrie Draghi Photography studio's: My Good friend Carrie Draghi (www.cdraghiphoto.com) asked me to make her a cake to display in her studio that matched her logo colors and decor.

6. Cattail Wedding: Cattail grasses, dragonflies, flowers and stones adorned this 4 tier cake made for a backyard wedding.

7. Corpse Bride Wedding: A fall wedding with a twist! This wedding cake was created for a couple who adore Tim Burton and all his work. 2 tiers adored with the Corpse bride and groom grow out of 2 stacked bottom tiers.

8. Cowboy triple birthday: Made for a Father and his 2 sons having a joint Cowboy themed birthday party.

9. Cupcakes: Who wouldn't love a dozen gourmet cupcakes just because?

10. Curious George: Curious George sits atop a gigantic Banana in this graduation cake made for a huge fan.

11. Day of the Dead: 3 topsy turvy tiers adorned with traditional Dia De Los Muertos Skulls decorated with piped royal icing.

12. Doggie Birthday: This puppy Looks too good to be eaten! Buttercream piped fur covers this pup in Chocolate brown, tan and white.

13. Ells Bust: Made to look like the founder of one of Wesleyan's oldest societies Samuel Ells was created for the founders 100th birthday.

14. Elmo: We make a lot of Elmo cakes here at the shop. Here are 2 versions of that furry monster.


15. Fireworks wedding: A topsy turvy 4th of July wedding cake covered in Fireworks and twinkling stars.

16. Furby: A Child birthday cake made to look like his favorite toy.

17. Horse's Head: What Mafia themed 50th birthday party would be complete without a horse's head for the guest of honor.

18. Hula Party: The CT Ballroom Society (www.ctballroomsociety.com) had a hula themed gala this year and asked us to make them a cake. Grass skirts and Tiki heads and flower necklaces Oh My!

19. Indian 80th Birthday: A traditional Indian helmet tops this 2 tier cake covered with Mehndi and the gumpaste figures of the recipients grandchildren.

20. Jungle Twins: A Baby shower cake for a mom expecting Twins!

21. Miami Dolphins Helmet: A Surprise grooms cake for a huge Dolphins fan!

22. Mickey Mouse: This 3-D Mickey Mouse was made for the 3rd birthday of a special needs child with Leg Braces. Our Mickey was made with matching braces.

23. A Mid Summer Night's Dream: This cake was made for Capitol Classics (www.capitalclassics.org) production of A Mid Summer Night's Dream.

24. Movie night: A fun girlie movie night themed cake for a 13 year old's birthday that made her the star of the show!

25. Mr. Potato Head (Darth Tater): A Star Wars themed Mr. Potato Head with all of his regular parts scattered on the table.

26. Nemo: What kid doesn't love Finding Nemo? This 3-D cake fed 20 guests.

27. NY Giants Helmet: Another Football groom's cake, this one was for a huge Giants fan.

28. NY Yankees: A small surprise stadium cake with the Yankee's Logo right on top.

29. Pink Frilly Purse: A 1st birthday cake filled with glitter and glam. this frilly cake fed 15 guest and was made to match the birthday girls dress.

30. Princess Cakes: We also make quite a few princess cakes at the Shop. Here are 2 versions of a classic princess cake.


31: Purple Wedding: This outdoor wedding cake brought together delicate flowers, pearls and birds with natural looking branches.

32. Queen of Hearts Cake: A Topsy Turvy 30th Birthday cake made to match the shoes of the lucky birthday girl.

33. Skeleton Bride and Groom: Just in time for Halloween, this engagement party cake represented the lucky couple in a fun new way!

34. Sponge Bob Squarepants: Along with his sidekick Gary, this gravity defying Spongebob would make any child’s birthday complete!

35. Statue of Liberty: This Lady of Liberty serves 20 and was made from gumpaste.

36. Stenciled Wedding: A hand painted Wedding cake with fresh flowers.

37: Strawberry Shortcake: This Princess version of Strawberry Shortcake stood 3 ft tall and was filled with Strawberries and Cream cake.

38. Submarine: A surprise Fast Attack class submarine cake complete with royal icing waves for a newly promoted officer.

39. Train cakes: we have done both traditional train cakes and A colorful Thomas the Train cake this summer.


40. Toy Story: A gumpaste Woody tops this 2 tier toy story cake complete with lasso and bandana.

41. Tutu: A girlie pink tutu for a little girl's 1st birthday. With Ruffles, flowers and bow's what little girl wouldn’t want a tutu all her own.

42. Vlasic Pickle Jar: Made for a little girl who's nickname was Pickle, this Jar cake came with it's own giant marshmallow gherkin.

43. Wadsworth Mansion: This sophisticated black and white cake was the centerpiece at the Wadsworth Mansion's photo shoot.

44. White Flowers: A classically beautiful birthday cake for one of A Little Imaginations Biggest fans

45. Winnie the Pooh: Pooh attracts the sugar honey bees With a giant Pink hunny pot on this 1st birthday cake.


46. Wonka: Violet Beauregard stars as the blueberry girl in this cake for a Willy Wonka themed birthday party.

My daughter loves Nemo and SpongeBob Square Pants. She always watches Nickelodeon even while were on-the-go. Those cakes are amazing by the way. I'm really glad we get TV everywhere because my daughter is easily entertained.
